Do NOT do this!

About six months ago I was hired on as a contract Social Media Specialist forAdoptUSKids. Two weeks ago I was chatting with one of my colleagues, who in fact had been instrumental in the creation of the position I now hold. She had written the job description, screened applicants, and been in on all of the interviews. Our conversation was about that process.

It came up that I had found out about the position through a Twitter connection, and we both recalled how I had made an initial inquiry about the position via Twitter.

JOB POSTING: Marcom Director for Egencia

I don't normally use or plan to use this space for job postings. But I know a number of people still looking for their next career phase, and this came across my email inbox, and I wanted to share it. Since it came in the body of an email, and not with a link, I'm pasting the copy from the email here. The gal who sent it offers to provide an application link for those who are interested. And I do have a connection or two at Expedia via LinkedIn, if anyone's interested.
